Nate, I am the exact same way with “curse words”. I am a high school teacher at a public school in FL. Students curse more than they use regular English. However, they know not to curse around me. They respect me when I set those boundaries. They may say “sh@t, or Dam&, or hel?, or pis.ed, any of these words and they say to me “these aren’t curse words!” I reply, “Yes they are!” lol! I love standing on these principles for my students even if they think I’m old-fashioned. They live in a world that gives them no boundaries, little ethics or morals, and no one to call them to a higher standard. I’m thankful I have the opportunity to just be a light for these kids (beyond the no-cursing rules). ❤ Nate, never change! You’re setting such a great example for your family and many others.

I’m way late to the comments on this one, but I have had the same dream about college classes that I just realized I was signed up for but never attended. In fact, that nightmare continued for over a decade after I graduated college until last year. I became an adjunct professor and suddenly started having the dream again, but this time it was me realizing at the end of the semester that there was a class I was supposed to be TEACHING the whole time but never attended. That has been my new recurring dream. Maybe grad school will cure it…

In Pennsylvania, the Dauphin County courthouse (built in 1942) bears the names of each and every municipality in the county on the outside of the building except for one. That town was founded in 1818 as "Snydertown" and was later incorporated under the name "Uniontown." However, when the town got its first post office, those names had already been taken. Not all dogs are well behaved in a walk and thats ok. People need to appreciate that people are walking their dogs and dont want to use excessive force and painfuk tactics on their dogs. I have 9 dogs. 5 of them dont need leashes outside. The other 4 do. All of them got out of the uard ine day and my husband ran back to the hkuse and all 9 followed him and thought it was fun. Best damn video caught on our surveillance. He was panicked but they were all happy to follow dad home because we raise them with love and not fear. Be kind to your pets. Youre their everything.

Omaha used to be a nice town. Now because of the population explosion, our town is becoming an amoebic city. It's fun in the winter watching the migrants from the warm climates try to drive in snow. Where we used to have beautiful corn and soybean fields, there's concrete piled in stories obscuring our beautiful sunsets. The taxes here are awful, but then they always have been. The companies which have come here because the standard of living is affordable have been responsible for it now becoming outrageously expensive. We've always been a polite and friendly place so if you run up against a Karen or an entitled person, they aren't native. Don't come here with attitude because you're from LA or NY because we're not impressed. If you see someone going crazy over a celebrity here, that person isn't local. We aren't intrusive and being in a movie or a rock band doesn't cause us to treat them differently.

Or dont havecthe energy to take them down, cause they is high.

Maybe they are pot smokers and like the lights
